Part 6: Democracy

Democracy is part of our everyday lives in Britain. It is all about being able to have a say in decisions that affect us and sharing responsibility for outcomes. When a group of people is given a choice, a simple show of hands is democracy in action, whether choosing between tea or coffee, or where to go for lunch. In the case of the drinks run, an individual expects their vote to deliver a specific outcome.
